Please note that Maxeon is not pursuing a scheme of arrangement which would have provided existing management the opportunity to potentially preserve some limited value for shareholders. In contrast, judicial management is structurally designed to prioritize creditors above all else with a sale of the company's assets being the most likely outcome at this point. With sales proceeds likely to be only a tiny fraction of the company's sizeable debt, I would expect a total loss for common shareholders. Given my expectations for a near-term delisting of Maxeon Solar's common shares and an ultimate wipe-out for equity holders, I am downgrading the stock from "Sell" to "Strong Sell".
