Andreistanescu/Dreamstime Snowflake was giving a boost to the entire cloud-software sector on Thursday as the market welcomed results that appeared to signal improving demand. However, some Wall Street analysts were still cautious on calling a sustained recovery. Snowflake stock was up 7.8% at $188.84 in early trading after it highlighted stronger consumption of its data-warehouse software in its October-quarter earnings. The particular highlight pulled out by many analysts was that consumption in September grew faster than at any other period in the last two years, and growth had continued in October.
