Most Read from Bloomberg The yield on benchmark 10-year notes briefly rose 2 basis points to the highest level since May 2013, before easing back to 0.99% at 3 p.m. in Tokyo. The nation's yields, including for 20- and 30-year bonds, have reached decade highs recently with inflation sticking above the central bank's 2% target for two years. ADVERTISEMENT The 1% level is key for the market because it was previously the reference point for the BOJ's yield-curve control policy that was abolished in March, at the same time as negative rates were axed.
