It might be the clearest signal yet that the Strip is pulling out of 2025's doldrums. MGM Resorts President and CEO Bill Hornbuckle noted that it was a very tough comparison because of an “amazing January” last year that brought the third-highest Las Vegas Strip gaming win on record. He said he expects the revenue growth to continue as the year progresses, with easier comparisons ahead. Conventions including CES and CON/AGG fueled some of that performance, and Hornbuckle echoed comments made by Caesars Entertainment executives yesterday: Las Vegas needs more of these big groups.
