GRAND RAPIDS, Miss., Aug. 14, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Meritage Hospitality Group, Inc. (OTCQX: MHGU), one of the nation’s premier restaurant operators, declared a special quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per share at the August 13, 2019 Directors meeting. The dividend is payable on September 12, 2019 to shareholders of record on August 29, 2019. “Our common stock cash dividends declared during the first three quarters of the year represent an increase of 100% over the same period last year, as we continued to reward shareholders with dividend growth commensurate with earnings growth”, stated Meritage CEO, Robert E. Schermer, Jr. “Throughout the first two quarters of the year, the Company has reported EBITDA growth of 31%, a Development Agreement to build 40 new Wendy’s by the end of 2024 and entered into definitive agreements to acquire 10 Wendy’s restaurants.
