Annual Global Consumer Staples Conference 2025, the company reiterated its focus on innovation and digital transformation as it seeks to sustain growth in a highly competitive environment. McCormick & Company (MKC) Eyes McCormick de Mexico Stakes to Bolster Sales The company affirmed it is in the process of acquiring an additional 25% stake in McCormick de Mexico. The acquisition is expected to add over $800 million in net sales and $180 million in operating profit. Sales from operations in Mexico are expected to account for more than 10% of the total sales. The acquisition comes on the heels of the company delivering a 4% growth in operating profit and substantial volume in the consumer segment. Nevertheless, the company has warned that it could experience slow growth in 2025 due to weakness in the consumer segment amid value-seeking behavior.
