Nvidia First Quarter Earnings Preview: China Woes Summary After Intel’s 1Q downside guidance, Nvidia shareholders finally realize that the previously assumed better second half 2019 may be at risk. Nvidia’s 1Q gaming will show further softness and the recovery may be delayed beyond fiscal 2020 because of the surprised turn of trade talks. Nvidia’s 1Q data center sales growth is expected to follow Intel’s print of falling behind both sequentially and from one year ago. The expected weak 1Q ER and guidance should have been baked into the prices. Nvidia share price should have more upside than downside from here on.
