Shares of Johnson Controls International Plc ( JCI ), which makes water-chilled cooling equipment and similar systems, tumbled as much as 11% in the worst intraday drop since 2022. Modine Manufacturing Co. ( MOD ) fell as much as 21%, while Carrier Global Corp. ( CARR ) and Trane Technologies Plc ( TT ) also slid.
