The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index is poised for a fifth-straight day of gains, marking a weekly advance of about 9%. It's the world's best performer this month among more than 90 stock gauges tracked by Bloomberg. The onshore benchmark CSI 300 Index, meanwhile, is up less than 1% this week. The Hong Kong equity measure is benefiting from its relatively high weighting of Chinese tech shares, which are enjoying renewed investor enthusiasm while US megacaps endure an up-and-down earnings season. The Hang Seng Tech Index is trading at less than 15 times expected earnings, compared with 24 times for the Nasdaq 100.
