longer-term structural risks, according to an investor note published Monday from Chief Investment Officer Lisa Shalett. Shallet said current valuations suggest markets are treating concerns around inflation, interest rates, and geopolitical tensions as temporary, even as underlying risk premiums indicate “little has changed.” Morgan Stanley identified three structural shifts shaping the investment outlook: changes in the nature of military conflict, growing strain in relationships between the US and allies, and increasing resource nationalism affecting commodities and supply chains. The report noted that U.S. equities have rebounded sharply, with the S&P 500 recovering from a nearly 10% decline in March and rising more than 12% to new highs. The Nasdaq's Composite Index also posted its longest winning streak since 1992, driven by momentum in AI-linked stocks and large-cap technology names. The firm also pointed to diverging economic signals, including real-time GDP estimates
