Investors are quite aware of the reason: MicroStrategy has transformed from its software company origins into a leveraged Bitcoin treasury entity. The firm now possesses around 712,647 BTC—valued at approximately $60 billion—accounting for more than 3.4% of Bitcoin's entire supply. As a result, MSTR's stock price varies with Bitcoin's price movements. Currently, Bitcoin is trading at around $82,000, marking a significant rebound from its peak of over $126,000 in October of the previous year. With a market capitalization nearing $46 billion, MSTR shares are trading below the overall value of its Bitcoin holdings, presenting investors an opportunity to acquire it at a discount to Net Asset Value (NAV).
