Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico Taos Ski Valley has differentiated itself among all U.S. ski regions by simply being the world's only Certified B Corporation ski resort Taos also received a CarbonNeutral® certification from Climate Impact Partners in 2021 and has set an aggressive target of achieving Net Zero emissions by 2030. In 2024, it also made industry history by deploying the first fully electric snowcat in North America as part of its expanding low-emissions fleet. Furthermore, the resort practices highly efficient water stewardship, with 90% of water used for snowmaking returning to the watershed during spring runoff. The Blake hotel at the base area further reflects this ethos, as it operates as a LEED Silver-certified building. Vail Resorts, Colorado The Vail Resorts portfolio includes many of the Rocky Mountains' most celebrated destinations, such as Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Crested Butte in Colorado, as well as Park City Mountain in Utah.
