While the report released by Vail contained several interesting stats, perhaps the most notable was that across North American resorts, the company saw a 3.1% decline in skier visits compared to the previous season. However, despite the decline in actual visits, the season-to-date total lift ticket revenue, including a portion of season pass sales, increased 3.4%. Vail Resorts CEO Kirsten Lynch commented on the metrics as a part of the report , saying that the overall results of the season, "highlight the stability provided by our season pass program, our investments in the guest experience, and the strong execution of our teams across all our of our mountain resorts."
