Murphy USA has launched a pair of business fuel cards via commercial fuel payments and technology platform AtoB, according to a Wednesday announcement. The Murphy USA and QuickChek Business Fuel cards offer advanced reporting, instant fraud alerts and real-time spending controls, according to the announcement. Users will also get a 20-cent-per-gallon fuel discount for the first year. The cards are targeted at smaller or newer businesses that may have difficulty qualifying for or affording traditional fleet cards and are planned to offer lower fees than traditional fleet cards. In the ongoing battle for fuel dollars, offering a fleet card that's easier to qualify for could give Murphy's banners an edge.
