HENDERSON, Nev., March 21, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Movella Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: MVLA) (“Movella” or the “Company”), a leading full-stack provider of sensors, software, and analytics that enable the digitization of movement, announced today the appointment of Marcum LLP (“Marcum”) as its independent registered public accounting firm, effective March 19, 2024. During the Company’s fiscal years ended December 31, 2023 and 2022 and the subsequent interim period through March 19, 2024, neither the Company, nor anyone on the Company's behalf, consulted with Marcum regarding: (i) the application of accounting principles to a specified transaction, either completed or proposed; (ii) the type of audit opinion that might be rendered on the Company's financial statements, and Marcum did not provide any written report or oral advice that Marcum concluded was an important factor considered by the Company in reaching a decision as to any such accounting, auditing or financial reporting
