Mylan tops profit estimates and offers upbeat guidance Mylan NV shares MYL, +0.30% rose 2% in premarket trade Tuesday, after the company beat profit estimates for the third quarter and offered upbeat guidance. The company said it had net income of $189.8 million, or 37 cents a share, in the quarter, up from $176.7 million, or 34 cents a share, in the year-earlier period. Adjusted per-share earnings came to $1.17, ahead of the $1.13 FactSet consensus. Revenue rose to $2.96 billion from $2.86 billion, just below the $3.01 billion FactSet consensus. The company said it now expects full-year revenue of $11.5 billion to $12.0 billion and adjusted EPS of $4.20 to $4.40. The FactSet consensus is for revenue of $11.6 billion and EPS of $4.29. Shares have fallen 28% in 2019, while the S&P 500 SPX, +0.37% has gained 23%.
