Nordson boosts dividend by 17% Nordson Corp. NDSN, -0.31% said Friday it will raise its quarterly dividend by 17% to 35 cents a share from 30 cents a share. The maker of products used to dispense adhesives and coatings said the new dividend will be payable Sept. 4 to shareholders of record on Aug. 21. Based on Thursday's stock closing price of $133.08, the new annual dividend rate implies a dividend yield of 1.05%, compared with the implied dividend yield for the S&P 500 SPX, -0.14% of 1.89%, according to FactSet. Nordson's stock, which was still inactive in premarket trade, has lost 9.1% year to date, while the S&P 500 SPX, -0.14% has gained 6.7%. Have breaking news sent to your inbox.
