DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Newmont Corporation (NYSE: NEM, TSX: NGT) (Newmont or the Company) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.25 per share of common stock, payable on June 18, 2020, to holders of record at the close of business on June 4, 2020.Consistent with the Company’s prior announcement to significantly increase its industry leading dividend, the first quarter 2020 dividend declared represents an increase of 79 percent compared to the prior quarterly dividend of $0.14 per share.The declaration and payment of future quarterly dividends remains at the discretion of the Board of Directors and will depend on the Company's financial results, cash flow and cash requirements, duration and impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, future prospects, and other factors deemed relevant by the Board.11 See cautionary statement at the end of this release for additional information.About Newmont Newmont is the world’s leading gold company and a producer
