NEW ORLEANS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Former Attorney General of Louisiana Charles C. Foti, Jr., Esq. and the law firm of Kahn Swick & Foti, LLC (“KSF”) are investigating the proposed merger of Northfield Bancorp, Inc. (NasdaqGS: NFBK) and Columbia Financial, Inc. (NasdaqGS: CLBK). Under the terms of the proposed transaction, each Northfield share will be converted into either stock or cash, at the holder’s election, with consideration tied to the final independent valuation: from 1.425–1.465 holding company shares or $14.25–$14.65 in cash per share, with cash capped at 30% of outstanding shares.
