Q4 net loss increased to $27.4M, or $0.04/share, from $16.9M, or $0.02/share, in the year-earlier quarter, primarily due to higher unrealized losses on the revaluation of the Rainy River gold stream obligation and the New Afton free cash flow interest obligation. New Gold ( NGD ) said it expects FY 2024 consolidated gold production of 310K-350K oz, compared to 321,178 oz in 2023, with H2 2024 likely representing ~60% of annual production as waste stripping at Rainy River is sequenced in the year's H1. The miner guided for full-year copper output of 50M-60M lbs, ~16% higher than 2023, driven by an increased contribution from C-Zone at New Afton. New Gold ( NGD ) said 2024 should be the final year of significant capital spending, and as a result, consolidated gold production is expected to increase by ~35% over 2023 to 410K-460K oz in 2026, while copper output is expected to rise by ~60% from 2023 to 71M-81M lbs in 2026.
