EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NantKwest, Inc. (Nasdaq: NK), a clinical-stage, natural killer cell-based therapeutics company, announced today the closing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of an aggregate of 8,521,500 shares of its common stock (4,811,500 shares at a price to the public of $9.50 per share and 3,710,000 shares at a price of $12.12 per share to NantKwest’s chairman, chief executive officer and principal stockholder, Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong), which includes 1,111,500 shares sold upon full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase additional shares at a public offering price of $9.50 per share, less the underwriting discounts and commissions. All of the shares were offered by NantKwest.
