Dallas, Texas, Nov. 06, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NL Industries, Inc. (NYSE: NL) today reported a net loss attributable to NL stockholders of $7.8 million, or $.16 per share, in the third quarter of 2025 compared to net income attributable to NL stockholders of $36.0 million, or $.74 per share, in the third quarter of 2024. NL results include an unrealized loss of $.5 million in the third quarter of 2025 related to the change in value of marketable equity securities compared to an unrealized gain of $18.6 million in the third quarter of 2024. For the first nine months of 2025, NL reported a net loss attributable to NL stockholders of $6.8 million, or $.14 per share, compared to net income attributable to NL stockholders of $50.7 million, or $1.04 per share, for the first nine months of 2024. NL results include an unrealized loss of $9.1 million in the first nine months of 2025 related to the change in value of marketable equity securities compared to a $21.8 million unrealized gain i
