NMAI's performance has been mixed—recent results are more encouraging, but long-term returns lag peers, potentially justifying its wider-than-average discount. The fund yields 10.63% with a 9.66% NAV distribution rate, but sustainability is questionable given high required returns, and recent distribution cuts seem to concede this.
