(NYSE: NRG) today announced the appointment of Caroline Golin, Ph.D., as Chief Growth and Policy Officer. Dr. Golin brings more than two decades of experience in energy strategy, market development, and product innovation to NRG. In her new role, she will focus on driving the strategic execution of key business initiatives that support reliability and affordability as energy demand grows, including the expansion of data center opportunities and residential virtual power plant (VPP) programs. In this capacity, she will also lead NRG's Government and Regulatory Affairs functions.
