Natura &Co to Consider Separating Avon Brand [MarketWatch]

The potential separation would be the latest change to the company's corporate organization after recently divesting itself from Aesop and The Body Shop. Advertisement Natura said that its board had authorized management to evaluate a possible separation. "The aim of this study is to unlock the full potential of both companies, which have distinct geographical footprints and serve different beauty consultants and consumers," the company said. If the separation were to occur, sustainability-focused beauty company Natura would operate its brand worldwide and would have the right to operate the Avon brand in Latin America.
