Nvidia stock rockets past $300 to third straight record close as holdout analyst turns bullish Nvidia Corp. shares topped $300 for the first time ever Wednesday and soared to another a record close after one noted analyst had a change of heart and stopped being a holdout on the stock. Late Tuesday, Bernstein analyst Stacy Rasgon upgraded his rating on Nvidia’s stock to outperform from market perform and raised his price target to $360 from $300. Then on Wednesday, Nvidia NVDA, +6.11% shares opened at a high of $301.49, went on to set an all-time intraday high of $315.41, and closed up 6.1% at $314.70, their third record close in the past three trading days.
