Nvidia stock ( NVDA ) jumped as much as 3.7% in early trading on Friday following a Reuters report that the Trump administration began its review of Nvidia H200 chip exports to China. The move higher put shares of the world's largest company on track for a weekly gain, as investors viewed the news as a sign that President Trump would follow through on his promise to allow Nvidia to sell advanced chips to China in exchange for a 25% fee to the government.
