employees tied to the server maker — including its co-founder — with diverting $2.5 billion worth of servers containing Nvidia ( NVDA ) chips to China, in violation of US export laws. While the White House initially barred the sale of Nvidia's advanced chips to China, President Trump said in December he would allow the sale of H200 graphics processing units (GPUs) to China. On Wednesday, CEO Jensen Huang said Nvidia had begun receiving chip purchase orders from China. Huang also forecast that AI chip sales would surpass $1 trillion by 2027, up from a previous outlook of $500 billion in demand through 2026. Huang shared that crucial update at Nvidia's ( NVDA ) developer conference, where he unveiled the company's all-new Nvidia Groq 3 chip , an AI chip for space , and the NemoClaw platform for AI agents , among other announcements.
