The FDA wrote a letter on February 26 saying that the ad "There's Only One Ozempic" lied about the permitted uses of the injectable medicine and, without enough proof, asserted it was better than other GLP-1 therapies for Type 2 diabetes. The regulator also noted that the commercial made it seem like all people with Type 2 diabetes might get Ozempic's indications, despite though the drug is only approved for select individuals with other illnesses that make them eligible.
