Novo Nordisk and that Eli Lilly failed to warn of the risks of harsh side effects associated with blockbuster diabetes and weight loss drugs including Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro. Alex Walsh of Walsh Law, one of the lawyers, said from U.S. District Judge Gene Pratter in Philadelphia was "unusual" in that it did not appoint lead counsel, instead leaving it up to the attorneys to decide the details of the leadership structure and allowing them to choose additional committee members for a maximum of 25. "I'm ready to turn my attention fully to these defendants and fight for justice for our clients," Walsh said. The other lawyers on the committee are Paul Pennock of Morgan & Morgan; Marcus Susen of Susen Law Group; Sara Couch of Motley Rice; Cameron Stephenson of Levin, Papantonio, Rafferty, Proctor Buchanan, O'Brien, Barr & Mougey; Mike Daly of Pogust Goodhead; and Stacy Hauer of Johnson Becker.
