Nuvve and OMNIA expand partnership with new project in Romania [Yahoo! Finance]

The project increases Nuvve's announced European BESS capacity under this partnership to more than 150MW. Developed via SPV Brasov 60, the Romanian project involves the installation of a 60MW/120 megawatt-hour (MWh) BESS and marks the third such agreement between Nuvve and OMNIA Global within two weeks. Earlier projects include a 50MW site in Sweden and a 40MW facility in Austria. All three assets are scheduled to begin commercial operations in 2026. The collaboration between Nuvve and OMNIA was formalised earlier this month, providing Nuvve with access to the latter's development pipeline. This pipeline spans more than 700MW across 16 projects at various developmental stages in Austria, Romania and Bulgaria.
