With consumer confidence in the UK rising, ECL provisions are showing signs of a decrease. I continue to take a bullish view on NatWest Group. Investment Thesis: I take the view that NatWest Group ( NYSE: NWG ) has the capacity to see further upside based on continued growth in loans to customers and a decrease in ECL provisions. In a previous article back in September 2023, I made the argument that NatWest Group has the capacity for further upside going forward, on the basis of continued customer loan growth despite macroeconomic pressures. Since then, the stock has ascended to a price of $7.76 at the time of writing: The purpose of this article is to assess whether NatWest Group has the ability to see continued growth from here taking recent performance into consideration. Performance When looking at the most recent earnings results for NatWest Group, we can see that as compared to the prior year quarter, both loans to customers and customer deposits have seen growth
