Jonathan Kuminga has officially requested out of Golden State after the 23-year-old forward became eligible for trade on Jan. 15. Kuminga has missed the last 13 games for the Warriors due to injury, and, more recently for a "coach's decision." He hasn't played a game for the team since Dec. 18 against the Phoenix Suns , when he tallied two points and four rebounds in nine minutes of action. Kuminga, looking to close this chapter in the Bay Area after four seasons with the Warriors , asked to be traded just hours after the the team was allowed to make a move, according to ESPN. The Congolese prospect signed a short, two-year extension for $46.8 million, which included a team option for next season, just before the start of the current season, following an impasse with the team.
