She is also survived by son Rick Freesland, daughter Kimberly Freesland, and granddaughter Kailani Freesland. Susan grew up in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where her parents, the late Rex E. and Madeline Wright, taught her music, poetry and singing. She was a gifted first chair clarinetist and played Mozart, Schubert, and Bach beautifully. She sung in the church choir for many years and loved playing tennis with her daughter at Wilson College. She was very close to her siblings, Rex Wright, the late Dick Wright, and Carol Anderson. The entire family would spend summers together swimming, eating pizza and drinking iced tea as her children, nieces and nephews played in the pool in Hershey.
