Profit margins decreased significantly in recent quarters as a consequence of weak volumes. Recent workforce reductions should stabilize margins in the short term, and high accounts receivable should provide strong cash from operations in the coming quarters. The balance sheet is strong enough to cushion a big portion of the expected impacts from the expiry of convertible notes in 2025. The recent share price decline represents a good opportunity as the company is building a strong moat, and revenues are expected to return to the growth path in 2025. Investment thesis Omnicell ( NASDAQ: OMCL ) has built a highly differentiated portfolio of products and services in the medication dispensing market that puts it, in my opinion, in a strongly advantageous position as the company is building a strong moat that will allow it to stay highly profitable and enjoy high and stable revenue streams in the long term, which should translate into significant (and hopefully steady) returns
