| Tech Oracle: Buy For Its Through-Cycle Resilience Mar. 19, 2020 11:43 AM ET About: Oracle Corporation (ORCL) by: Opal Investment Research Long only, value, growth at reasonable price, contrarian Summary ORCL posted a relatively strong 3Q20, as its recurring revenue base continues to expand. Though the 4Q20 guide was above-consensus, I think there is likely some conservatism embedded in the transactional license and hardware business. Strong cash generation allows management to execute on a $15bn share buyback, which should support EPS. At ~11x FY21 earnings, I like ORCL at these levels. Having had little to celebrate over the last few quarters, Oracle's ( 3Q20 results More positively, I see ORCL's strong balance sheet, established market footprint, and the stickiness of its deployed software as key positives that should protect its earnings power in the coming quarters.
