Oracle: Revenue Acceleration Should Drive Outperformance Summary Q4 results were well ahead of consensus expectations for both revenue and EPS. Although initial Q1 guide was slightly below expectations, the company is set up nicely for a beat and raise pattern. Valuation remains below the larger tech peer group, though P/E could have some upside with double digit EPS growth in FY20. Oracle ( ORCL Management also provided a solid Q1-20 guidance and included a commitment to double digit earnings growth for FY20. Post-earnings, the stock was trading up nearly 10%, and rightfully so. Investors were finally rewarded with a very strong quarter and despite guidance being largely in line with consensus estimates, there is a pathway to a beat and raise year. The company is approaching a $45 billion run-rate revenue, though revenue growth has been largely muted due to the significant declines in the hardware segment.
