Despite overstretched valuation, a large number of economists and financial researchers think that a lot of firing power is left in the AI cylinder. All three major stock indexes ended in positive territory. However, for the week as a whole, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite ended in green while the Dow finished in red. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) advanced 0.4% or 183.04 points to close at 48,134.89. Notably, 18 components of the 30-stock index ended in positive territory, while 12 finished in negative territory. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite finished at 23,307.62, rising 1.3% or 301.26 points on the strong performance of AI bigwigs. The S&P 500 gained 0.8% points to finish at 6,834.50. Six out of 11 broad-sectors of the broad-market index ended in positive territory while five ended in negative territory.
