Overstock.com CEO Jonathan Johnson discusses how the furniture industry has been profiting throughout the pandemic. A former Scripps Health employee is charged with stealing the personal information of dying patients for use in filing fraudulent COVID-19 benefits claims. Beginning around summer 2020, Matthew Lombardo pilfered the names, birthdays, social security numbers, and addresses of patients who were dying and passed them along to Konrad Piekos, a suspected drug dealer, according to a criminal complaint obtained by Forbes.
