OXY aims to repay ~$4.5 billion of debt within the 1st year of closing the transaction. Once Occidental Petroleum reaches a $15 billion principal debt level, management intends to start a sustainable share repurchase program. I estimate OXY's growth potential in the form of a range. $80-96 is my price objective, which means an upside potential of 20-44% from the current market price.
