CRWD, PANW and ZS were all down almost 6%,OKTA down almost 8%. The broader CIBR ETF was down almost 4%. These drops came only a month after a similar drop February 20th, when Anthropic announced new code security capabilities. All of this comes only months after 2025 witnessed the biggest year in cybersecurity M&A history with over $80 billion in deals across hundreds of transactions. Peak consolidation followed almost immediately by a significant market drawdown. It could be that this is what the top looks like.
