Some of the most transformative applications of AI operate far away from the spotlights of Silicon Valley, seen only by back-office workers who are now saving thousands of hours in rote menial work. It used to take an average of 10.5 months to process a case. After implementing AI, it now takes an average of 6.1 months per case, allowing for the USCIS to process an unprecedented 10.9 million cases last year, which reduced their backlog by 15% for the first time in over a decade.
