Pitney Bowes climbed to an eight-year high on Tuesday, as investors took heart from its upbeat outlook for the year, despite a mixed preliminary earnings performance in the first quarter. In intra-day trading, Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE:PBI) climbed to a record high of $14.87 before trimming gains to end the session just up by 10.92 percent at $14.63 apiece. Adjusted EBIT outlook is also pegged at $425 million to $465 million from $410 million to $460 million previously.
