PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 19, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Prudential Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) (Nasdaq: PBIP) announced that its Board of Directors, at a meeting held today, declared a cash dividend of $0.50 per share on the common stock of the Company. The dividend is comprised of a regular quarterly dividend of $0.07 per outstanding share and a nonrecurring special dividend of $0.43 per outstanding common share. The dividend will be paid on March 20, 2020 to the shareholders of record at the close of business on March 6, 2020. Dennis Pollack, President and CEO, commented, “The nonrecurring special dividend is reflective of our increased earnings levels and indicative of our continued commitment to enhance shareholder value and reflects one of our strategies to leverage our capital while providing a benefit to our shareholders.
