PHILADELPHIA, April 17, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Prudential Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) (Nasdaq:PBIP), the holding company for Prudential Bank (the “Bank”), reported net income of $2.9 million, or $0.33 per basic share and $0.32 per diluted share, for the quarter ended March 31, 2020 as compared to $2.3 million, or $0.27 per basic share and $0.26 per diluted share, for the same quarter in fiscal 2019. For the six months ended March 31, 2020, the Company reported net income of $5.4 million, or $0.61 per basic share and $0.60 per diluted share as compared to $4.3 million, or $0.49 per basic and $0.48 per diluted share, for the same period in fiscal 2019.
