The MSCI index for Latin American currencies slid 0.2%. Benchmark U.S. 10-year Treasury note yields touched their highest since November after U.S. core inflation data rose by 3.7%, above expectations for a 3.4% increase, further denting chances for forthcoming interest rate cuts from the Federal Reserve.
