This way, investors can theoretically access the income compounding story. However, considering the facts and market dynamics, both of these aspects (yield and growth) have significantly weakened, in absolute and relative terms. In this article, I provide a more granular color on the underlying reasons why I think that SCHD is not that enticing at these levels. At the start of this year, I circulated an article comparing the Schwab U.S. Dividend Equity ETF ( NYSEARCA: SCHD ) with the JPMorgan Equity Premium Income ETF ( JEPI The key takeaway was that, in my opinion, SCHD is superior to JEPI mainly due to the following reasons: Better price appreciation potential due to forthcoming normalization in SOFR, where the option strategy of JEPI would cap the gain potential, while for SCHD the upside remains fully open.
