The price drops began rolling out the week of Feb. 3 after the company announced its earnings from the last quarter of fiscal year 2025. The move represents a change in strategy for PepsiCo, which has raised prices consistently every year since 2022, The New York Times reported. The sales volume of its snacks and drinks has declined over the past few quarters as customers respond to the rising prices. "At the heart of our business are the consumers who choose our brands. They trust us to bring them moments of joy, and they've been honest with us about how rising everyday costs are making their daily decisions harder. Message received," PepsiCo stated in the release. How do PepsiCo's price drops affect customers? Each retailer sets their own prices, so the cost of snacks may vary, PepsiCo said.
