PEPG discontinued its DMD trials, which explains some of the reduced R&D expenses in the last 3 months and also some of the stock's declines earlier in the year. With only $45 million in net cash and marketable securities and maybe towards $1 billion in future R&D costs, potential equity raises with reflexivity risk are a consideration. It could be worse if reflexivity kicks in to the downside, with disappointments in the capital cost situation affecting the stock price. The upside doesn't seem that significant considering cash burn, required future expenditures and inherent uncertainty in a pre-revenue and developmental drug stock.
