Pfizer's obesity update on VESPER-3 for PF-3944 showed successful switching to monthly dosing with placebo-adjusted weight loss of 10%–12.3% (modeling projects ~16% at the planned high monthly dose) and an acceptable safety profile, supporting a phase III program expected to begin in 2026. The company reaffirmed 2026 guidance (revenue $59.5B–$62.5B; adjusted EPS $2.80–$3.00), warned of ~ $5B in COVID revenue and about $1.5 billion of LOE-related revenue pressure, and plans to offset headwinds with productivity programs targeting $7.2 billion of net savings by end-2026 and $1.5 billion of manufacturing savings by 2027.
